Baked Canned Salmon Steak Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb can salmon
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 thin slices Bermuda onion
- 1 teaspoon Angostura bitters
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- some pepper
Instructions:
1. First of all, drain the salmon and reserve the liquid for later use.
2. Put the salmon in a shallow casserole and sprinkle some pepper over it.
3. Pour in the lemon juice and place some onion slices on top and around it.
4. In a mixing bowl, add in the Angostura bitters, sour cream and salt. Add in the salmon liquid. Combine and mix well.
5. Pour the mixture on and around the salmon.
6. Bake it for 45 minutes at 325°F (162°C). Be sure to baste 3 times.
7. Best serve with lemon wedges or over rice.
